The Antidote is the debut full length album from Kings to You. The band features the vocals of David Arthur, the singing voice heard on the As I Lay Dying record, Shadows are Security. Each member of the band has acquired years of experience through previous bands, and formed Kings to You in late 2005. After a few demo recordings, preparations for the full length were put into motion and in January 2007, The Antidote was recorded. The album features an aggressive, yet accessible, rock sound, laced with powerful and catchy melodies which draw the listener in, starting from track one. This sound is evident on tracks such as "Strike Back" and "Don't Blink." However, the album also manages to showcase the band's softer side and gives Arthur full reign to show off his vocal range on "Take the Fall" and "The Arrow or the Hero." With every show Kings to You gains more fans, and more people fall in love with their unique take on a sound that many bands strive to perfect. Kings to You will continue to gain new fans with an undeniable live show, and constant dedication to reach the masses.
