Hiking, cycling, camping, swimming, amateur [ham] radio, etc. Kathy and I have grown kids and have also adopted four kids, three of which are still at home. We love and appreciate them and are immensely thankful to the Lord for bringing them out way! We plan to help kids in need as long as the Lord allows us to do so.

I am a 1980 graduate of Nazarene Bible College, Colorado Springs, Colorado, with an Associate in Biblical Studies degree. I had been out of high school 10 years when the Lord allowed me to prepare for my pastoral calling. It was a calling with a purpose, thus I really was challenged and enjoyed my experiences at NBC. I worked fulltime to provide for my family. which was often very tiring but it was awesome to walk across that stage in May of 1980, get my diploma and head out a few days later to pastor my first church!
Also, I am a 1993 graduate of Christian International College of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, with a Bachelor of Theology degree. I earned that degree by taking courses at an on site satellite school as well as taking courses online. I couldn't get the MySpace program to recognize the college.
After that, I was in a Masters in Christian Counseling degree program through International Seminary of Plymouth, FL. I was within 2 courses and the final paper of finishing when life got in the way and I was unable to complete it. But it was a very beneficial experience which has help me to be a more effective pastoral counselor.
