Brian is the founder and owner of K9 Basics Dog Training. He spent 25 years in law enforcement during which time he handled a police dog for 10 years and then supervised the K9 unit for 10 years. Brian has been working with dogs, breeds and behaviors for over 23 years. K9 Basics Dog Training was launched in 2003 after his retirement from police work with an emphasis on pet dog training and making dogs’ lives better through training. It has since grown into one of the largest dog training businesses in the South Jersey area. Brian currently works with six rescue groups in the area besides his business, with an emphasis on training the abandoned dogs to enable them to be adopted.

It was learned today that Michael Vick is seeking reinstatement to the NFL. This coming after commissioner Goodell stated that remorse might lead to Vick's reinstatement.

Pete Rose was banned from baseball for life for gambling, a far worse transgression than dog fighting. Why should Vick be reinstated and allowed to profit after he let innocent Bullys be maimed and killed under his charge?
His prison sentence was too short, and his bankruptcy allowed him to keep things that other people are forced to let go, and now he wants to be reinstated, because he says that is the only way he can pay his bills. Stating that a $10 dollar an hour construction job will not allow him to live in the lifestyle to which he had become accustomed to in the NFL.
Others are forced to survive on $10 an hour or less, why should he be different, he participated in the pain and suffering of animals in his control and even the death in some cases. Yet he thinks crocodile tears will earn him repentence in the eyes of NFL Commissioner Goodell, write Goodell today and let him know that you do not approve of Vicks reinstatement.
