'Why K-9 Retreat?'

.. Like many families, Jon and I have found it very difficult to leave our canine companions behind when we have had to be away from home. It's especially difficult when our companions demonstrates fear, reluctance or nervousness when we leave. Although there is nothing wrong with the 'traditional' boarding facilities, we have always hoped that we could find a place where our dogs would feel safe, comfortable, and fun while we were away.

When Jon and I started to consider the idea of starting our own Affordable Dog Daycare & Boarding facility, we wanted to provide a 'warm' facility. We also wanted to provide a facility that the dog(s) would find comfortable and fun while getting the exercise and mental stimulation that they often require.

It been approximately one year since we officially opened our doors and we continue to have many ideas and hopes for future K-9 Retreat projects. Although times have been tough for everyone, the past year has also been rewarding. We are grateful for everyone that has entrusted us with caring for their companions. We will continue to strive to provide affordable, quality, and loving care for our canine guests in the coming new year. We are proud to say that many of our guests have commented that their dogs are so eager and excited to return to our facility. There is no greater reward than having a dog come rush through our doors eager to play and greet us good-bye before departing. We hope you will continue to browse our photo album of our family and guests. We hope you will enjoy them as much as we have!
