Based in Aubagne ( south of France), and composed of members of the association Kabba roots, Kabba massa gana sound system revisits the musical history of Jamaica. Zeby and Scali played selections from classic reggae oldies to latest dance hall anthem without forgetting the dub plates (exclusive titles made specifically for the sound) from veteran artists or closer to the new generation.
On roads for more than six years, the Kabba Massa Gana crossed the stage of the Mystic Revelation of Rastafari, the Wailers, Beres Hammond, Horace Andy, Linval Thompson … and shared the decks with sounds such as prestigious as King Dragon or Sentinel .
From Marseille to Paris, Switzerland, La Reunion and many places, Kabba massa gana accompanies also artists like Jamaican singers Putus Roots, Jah Fuzzy or more recently ELOQUENT (new hope for the music yardie) that the sound occurred alongside Gentleman or the star of US hip hop KRS one.
In August 2006, the Kabba Massa Gana broadens its audience with a remarkable participation in Ja'sound festival (one of reggae festivals largest in Europe!).
The multiple activities of the association in connection with Jamaica in terms of promotions events, cultural and artistic exchanges, project type community center ... took the sound to play down to the Kingston ghetto of Rockfort in the company of the Emperor Sono.
The Kabba Massa Gana presents its new mix tape "GIVE PRAISES" a rigorous selection of 39 titles in a mixed repertory one drop. The majority of artists and riddims on the mix have occupied the highest positions of reggae charts around the world, a sign that "GIVE PRAISES" is a succession of hits roots n '… culture!
