Kackophonia wurde 2000 von Ex-Mitgliedern folgender Darmstädter Kultbands (also uns ;o)) gegründet: -NAARSAK-BRAINAGE-DIE ARSCHGEBUIDEN-BLOFELD-PURGE-DECUBITUS- TEENAGE MAFIA-DANKE-SKELETON ARMY Die Musik ist sehr vielfältig von In-die-Fresse-Rock, über Ska, NDW, bis hin zu Auf-die-Nase-Punk. Die Texte sind mit eigenen Stilblüten über deutsche Poetry Slam bis hin zu Bert Brecht, Erich Mühsam und klassischen Liedern der Arbeiterbewegung ebenso bunt gemischt. Verpackt in treibende musikalische Energie, soll die Kraft der Sprache von Klassikern wie Mühsam, Herwegh und Brecht auch in jungen Köpfen wieder Zugang finden. Kackophonia ist eine Punkrockkapelle, die ihre politische Überzeugung nicht nur durch ihre Texte und außerparlamentarische Aktivitäten lebt. Packed in propelling musical energy, the strength of the language of classics as Mühsam, Herwegh and Brecht also in young heads should find access again. Kackophonia is a punk rock band which lives the political conviction not only by their texts and extraparliamentary activities. Les textes sont diversifiés eux aussi, avec un style fleuri très personnel, du Poetry Slam en allemand jusqu'à Bert Brecht, Éric Mühsam et des chansons classiques du mouvement ouvrier. Vitaminée par une énergie musicale qui vous trempera de sueur, la force de la langue des classiques comme Mühsam, Herwegh et Brecht peut ainsi toucher aussi le coeur des plus jeunes. Kackophonia est un groupe de punk-rock qui met ses convictions politiques en pratique non seulement dans ses textes et sa musique, mais aussi dans des activités extérieures, comme au conseil municipal. Kackophonia fait en effet partie du groupe politique “UFFBASSE”, représenté au conseil municipal de la ville de Darmstadt (avec 6,3% des bulletins de vote), et oeuvre aussi là pour mettre en pratique ses convictions politiques. - Plus d'infos sur www.uffbasse-darmstadt.de - KACKOPHONIA milite pour l'autodétermination libre des individu-e-s, contre le racisme et toute forme de dictature, mais sans oublier le plaisir de la vie au milieu de toutes ces choses sérieuses. ....
