Austin singer/songwriter Kacy Crowley is back with her third independent release, Cave. Produced by Billy Harvey (Steve Poltz, Bob Schneider), Cave is an offbeat yet completely relatable collection of songs that feels more like a first record than a third. With guest spots from Kevin Lovejoy and The Tosca String Quartet, Cave mixes an indie spirit with hummable pop melodies.
"...Cave, Kacy Crowley's fourth disc, while definitely dark, sounds more like a resounding triumph, a fresh beginning instead of a burning loss. ....the pixie-ish singer-songwriter also possesses the ability to deliver the deceptive, upbeat title track, which is just one of the reasons Cave is one of the most intriguing local releases of the year." (Jim Caliguiri, The Austin Chronicle May 2008)
"With an earnest voice that calls you from the first notes, Kacy Crowley captivates on Cave, her fourth release. She marries offbeat poems with simple, well-crafted tunes---and I swear there's an '80's vintage Casio keyboard on a few tracks---to produce a varied CD that everyone can relate to." (Ward Lowe, Austin Monthly Aug 2008)

Hey Kacy it's Nick again. We finally got a song up. I'm not sure if Rap is exactly your style but I'd appreciate you listening to it and letting us know what you think. The beat is borrowed from another song but the lyrics are all mine so some feedback would be well appreciated. Whenever you find the time, I'd appreciate it. Thanks! :)
Hey kacy thanks for the add. I wonder if you remember me. It's Nick Rizner. I live in Connecticut. Me Kevin and Pete Quinn used to comment your page all the time from our personal myspaces asking you to come back to Connecticut for a concert a couple years ago. Well anyway, I'm in college now and me and this kid I met Jordan formed a little rap group. I'm not sure how we'll do and we're working on some songs now. But comment back if you remember me! I hope you do.
