When it came to moving to L.A. Kaden had 44 cents in his pocket, and that was all. He just got on a plane and came, not knowing what to expect. "Looking back moving to L.A. was risky but I have never been afraid of taking risks if they'd get me closer to my goals. There are times when you have to do or die, take a risk or settle for less. I'll never allow myself to settle, I'd much rather risk it all and win than never get in the game."
At times Kaden held three jobs working as much as possible just to afford food and shelter in the expensive city of angels. As he pursued his musical dream many doors slammed in his face. "The rejection was very hard and on top of that I was so frustrated because I was working dead end jobs just to survive." During this time Kaden continued to schedule meetings with different producers. Still the doors slammed, "No one would work with me until they saw money on the table, I took this as they didn't respect my art. Soon I learned that many people in music today have no interest in art." Money was what they wanted and money was something Kaden didn't have, "I was living in a one bedroom apartment with three roommates and sleeping on the floor. I felt powerless because people were not giving me the time of day."
One thing that no one who knows Kaden can deny is that he has a wealth of drive and ambition. He throughs himself into work, it's something he has always done when faced with hard situations. "When I'm frustrated or stressed out about where I am in comparison with my goals, I never lower the bar. I just push myself harder because my doubts start to haunt me. They only subside when I'm doing something to bring myself closer to my goals."
So Kaden continues working to make it in the music industry. He throws himself into his work and will continue to do so "as long as there is air in my lungs and a heart beat in my chest, I'll never give up." The last thing I asked Kaden before our meeting was finished was, how are you living fearless? "I'm living fearless because I'm no longer looking for validation from other people, I'm truly free."

Hi my sweet Kaden! How are you and how'd that interview go?? I just wanted to give you a quick update, in case you missed my bulletins! I shot another TV commercial last week and already it's on the air! That was amazingly fast! I haven't even seen it yet, but many others have. But, even greater news is that I'm off for another trip!! ; ) I booked another job that takes me out of the country!! I'll be flying tomorrow to the CAYMAN ISLANDS to shoot over the weekend!!! Am I happy? Are you kidding me??? ABSOLUTELY!!! This one, however, will be a very quick & tight schedule so I may not get to see or do anything at all, but hey... I'll still BE there!!! I'll try to at least grab ONE shot out there! I will miss you, but, I should be back next week! I'll be thinking of you!!! Sending you lots of hugs and kisses!! ; )
Kaden, I realize you are totally busy building up a CD and Fan Following but know that I wish you a Happy V Day and wish you many hearts of all colors.
