WHO IS KAELUMWAY ?
What began as a circle of friends playing acoustic instruments for antiphonal worship in an intimate prayer room setting has blossomed into a creative and energetic group of five young men who strive to use their talents as musicians to usher in the work of the Lord while leading others into uninhibited worship.
The band name comes from the Latin word "cælum," which means “the heavens” or “sky.” Cælum is also the name of a faint 4-star constellation in the southern evening sky. Their initial lack of etymological knowledge led to an unintended change in pronunciation (from “sigh-lum” to “kay-lum”) along with an intended change in spelling. : )
Combinations of members of KaelumWay had played with each other in multiple capacities from the early 2000’s, but it wasn’t until 2007 – give or take a year – that the current line-up was established. Three members alternate the role of lead vocalist and it is not uncommon for instrument changes to occur even on a song-to-song basis. The band writes its own songs and also performs their own versions of songs written by such Christian recording artists as Shane & Shane, Chris Tomlin and David Crowder.
United by dedication to their calling, strong faith, good friendships and their unique blend or humor, KaelumWay is eager to see what God has in store for the band and willing to let the Lord do with it as He sees fit.

Thanks for responding Josh. You have an amazing voice! There is no way you guys could disappoint anyone. I absolutely love MBC. This was my 8th winter there.. it's the highlight of my year. God does unbelievable things there time after time and it is so incredible. I'm so excited for your demo CD to come out, and don't worry i'll be checking on your myspace haha. hey guys ! i just saw you guys up in Monadnock and you were absolutely amazing! I was upset when I first heard the other band was not going to be playing but now i'm a lot happier that you guys were up there. You did a great job and my whole church could feel your love for God while you were playing. I can't wait until you put some of your music up! Andy and Josh, I am in love with your voices!!
