Thank you everyone for coming out in the past and supporting Kafana Balkan and the Humanitarian Circus.
We will be back with a new Kafana Balkan Event on July 25th.
We will keep you updated. Through your support we have won the Best of the Bay from the Guardian and the Best of SF from the Weekly. The circus has recently returned from working with refugees in Eastern Europe. Your contributions brought the children diablos, juggling equipment, and fart candy. We are hoping to bring some unicycles there next year. We will soon be posting video and photos we took this year. Stay tuned for the Joe Goes To Serbia Documentary coming soon. We will have a premiere in the next few months.

Who I'd like to meet: Kafana Balkan is a benefit for the Hleb i Sir Cirkus (Bread and Cheese) who make free circus shows and workshops for refugee children in Kosovo. Below is a 5 minute clip of the clowns working with the kids. Enjoy!
