Kaf’ records existe depuis presque 8 ans maintenant et, est un label dédié à la fusion des musiques du monde, des îles de l’océan indien aux antilles en passant par la mère afrique, ainsi qu'à des projets jazz et expérimentaux. A la création, l’ambition artistique était la rencontre et l’enregistrement d’artistes des 4 coins du monde, laissant libre court à leurs envies du moment en mettant l’accent sur le fait que la production commence, à n’en pas douter, par eux... Sous l'impulsion de son créateur, Jamy Pedro, Kaf’ records s’est lancé comme défi de favoriser la rencontre de musiciens de divers horizons pour faire émerger une identité sonore originale, signature du label. Les activités majeures de kaf’ records sont la production et l’enregistrement de groupes novateurs en matière de riddim et de sons. Pour la plupart des enregistrements, la réalisation se fait de manière très « roots », dans l'environnement et les lieux où les artistes ont l’habitude de s’exprimer librement, sans contraintes. Ayant une configuration mobile et moderne à la fois (24Tracks digitals /total recall), lui permettant d’intercepter des nuances dans n’importe quel endroit et à n’importe quel moment, le label s’est engagé à produire des projets de manière très « live » et vivante!!
