The Kaftan Smeha's musical style can be defined as an avant-garde blend of progressive and art rock flavoured with elements of industrial, ethnic, jazz and funk music. The onstage show in the manner of absurdity theatre is an unseparable part of the band's concept. Each of their performances features
conceptual videos, shadow theatre, animation, permanent decoration and
costume changes. During the show the group uses a great number of stage
props, musical and lighting equipment.

All seven musicians of the group are real artists. Their onstage madness
arranged by voices and instruments is extraordinarily convincing and
catching.
An amazing theatrical performance, a post Pink Floyd combination of chamber
rock opera, absurdity theatre and avant-garde dumb-show. You can hardly
imagine that such an uncommercial genre allows to create such a complicated
show and highly professional musical performance nowadays.
