Not much to say. I'm a writer, I have very different views about life than many I know. I can be abrupt, anal retentive, and arrogant at times but also polite, informative, and slightly insane.

That reminds me: a pet peeve of mine is people using "ect" instead of "etc" - what is wrong with you people? You pronounce it "et-set-erra" so why do you think it's abbreviated to something sounding like "ekt"? It's an abbreviation for et cetera which is latin for and the rest. If you don't know that then you shouldn't be using it! Another pet peeve is that spastically terrible "leet". What ignoramus told you it was cool? It's not! Learn to spell! It should not be a requisite to decipher your text to learn what you're trying to say because if you used English properly we'd understand you more effectively and with less hassle, now wouldn't we?
That out of the way; I love the word "splendid", so if I overuse it abundantly then, well, tough. :)
Band Reviews
I'm going to start doing some reviews of bands that are on my friend list but are non-major. Why? Because it helps them and I'm bored. I have little other use for myspace so why not? Let's get on with it.
Elyzium is a superb electronica/rock band. The lyrics are well written, the songs well sung and the instruments well played. Quite frankly, I can't fault them at all. What I especially love about Elyzium is that they freely allow you to download their music for free to burn and pass discs to friends. They also open up their songs for others to remix as they wish. An album of their tracks at better quality, with remixes and additional content, is available at a next-to-nothing price.
Plain and simply: Elyzium is fantastic. Amongst the best non-major bands I've heard to date.
Carmen Hillary is a solo artist you so, definately, need to listen to. Her writing is superb and her vocals match perfectly. Very talented her music is definately the type you'd expect in mainstream media anytime soon. I am so thrilled she added me as it introduced me to her fantastic music.
Her music is classy and soulful - something you'd listen to when needing to relax and think. From slow and melodic "Home" to jazzy "Watching You Dance" and finishing with the soft "After" with a strong chorus; you get a calm and uplifting emotional ride from just the tracks on her profile! This is music that takes you somewhere.
