Decipher Thoughts
In our generation it is important that we enhance the level of creativity, and expose our people to music, and dances of many cultures. While uplifting the spiritual consciousness through truth and love for God, we follow in the footsteps of our past leaders around the globe who fought in the struggle of preserving our identity. We represent revolution.
Instrumentation spans from many countries and ethnicities, from North America to Africa lead by the Djembe; an important tool of the Mali Empire. We incorporate sounds of the Capoeira bateria such as the Berimbau and Atabaque and modern instruments like the drumset and concert percussion.
Decipher Thoughts represents liberated mental expression: freedom of speech, music and dance. Our sound conveys the percussive expression of powerful ethnic music and dance, using instruments that originally were born in Africa. Decipher thoughts sends many messages through soul searched vocals of truth; birthed from Negro Spirituals to old Malinke chants. Our original compositions are inspired by the revelation that we carry God..s message through our words and music.
In the spirit of liberation, we Decipher Thoughts.
