Latest release on Kahvi Commercial: MIRROR by Brioskj
The first commercial release for 2009 sees Kahvi regular 'Brioskj' in his first ever commercial release.
Mirrors is the definitive collection of what makes the unique Brioskj sound - Italian style and flair, easy listening and fun - but with a slightly dark edge.
Mirror is a full album length (11 tracks) epic mix of ambient, relaxation, addictive melodies and that extra sparkle that Kahvi is famous for.
In the sixth referece (enz-006), James Rod offers an album in which the mixing of different electronic concepts and músicales receives protagonism. Fusing the above mentioned elements one tries to characterize details of the jazz, soul and electronics more advanced to obtain a very personal touch, BROKEN JAZZ! Airs of dub, hip hop experimental loaded with dynamics they break again and again giving trepidant paces, synthes and sometimes atonal melodies with regard to the harmony of his songs. James Rod proposes music of forefront and new trends to enjoy and to relax in the sofa or to mix and to work in front of a mixing desk.
That melody on Abyssal Plains was melodic and comforting. A little remorseful sounding but elegant and diverse. The synth lines in Polaski were distant and beautiful. Take care and keep in touch, Jere
RNDM5 is an all-round artist who has been a part of many musical genres and has now dedicated himself to sound destruction and mangled synths with respect to glitch, idm, electro and 8 bit. Samples and a wide variety of instruments aid in piecing the natural world to the realm of ones and zeros.

Each track has its own feel, thanks to the diverse range of artists involved in the project. A shimmering journey through ambient colours, broken beats, sweet melodies, a little bit of quantum physics, and is one hell of a trip....

We are fast approaching the last days of 2009, so what better way to celebrate than this release from Welshman "Min-Y-Llan" who offers us this collection of atmospheric ambient pieces, the melodies within are dark and cavernous, being the perfect listening for the walk home on a frozen winters evening. Each track has a very melancholic feel as if looking towards a future that isn't as bright as we hope for, but nevertheless are powerless to escape. Free download!
