One of the most energetic and enthusiastic young DJs in the scene today, Kai has been making his name heard for a while now. Favouring the techy side of hard dance, Kai offers exciting techno based solo sets as well as performing back to back with Matt Janes when playing harder. Having performed at several smaller nights in Sheffield and around South Yorkshire, Kai took to the big stage at Storm vs Riot alongside Fivo and has since pushed for further high profile sets, playing a back to back set with Matt Janes at Xstatic vs Storm in January 2007.
About Drastic:
Drastic is the newest, freshest thinking dance music brand in the country. Formed by the coming together of three DJs, Drastic will initially host club nights in the UK offering predominately hard house, but also trance, techno, electro and house on future occasions. Drastic is committed to carrying the hard dance scene forward and has plans to evolve and become a record label in its own right, as well as offering DJ management and studio engineering services.
As with the Drastic club nights, the record label will combine the work of established and respected producers with the influence of fresh, unsigned acts. The emphasis with the Drastic record label will be to push the boundaries of the current sound of the hard dance genre and encourage it to evolve with the supporting and promoting of new production talents.
As and when appropriate, Drastic will be looking to increase its portfolio of DJ talent on the roster. These DJs will provide a rotational residency for the Drastic club events and also be promoted and managed with a view to appear at other brands across the country.
