MySpace a place for friends

Hey, hey, hey...it's time for a change of the 'ol myspace profile. Once again my name is Kaishek Vang, and you may hear how I pronounce it in "Take Me" & "If You Ask Me To". However, if you're much like me and are deaf to the lyrics until you hear the song a few more times, it's pronounced kai 'SHAY. Very simple, but nothing like how it's spelled. I got my name from my dad who named me after the Taiwanese Nationalist leader Chiang Kai-shek. I never met a Taiwanese or someone who speaks Taiwanese before to ask what my name meant though. I am curious though. I've got many nick names but I don't even like my name let alone the nick names. LOL. It doesn't matter what you call me though. I'm used to people getting my name wrong all the time so I respond to "Hey!", "Hey you!", "ummm...", "what's your name again..."--all that good stuff.

I was born in Memphis, Tennessee on July third of 1982 so you can do the math how old I am. I don't remember it because we moved from Memphis to Wausau when I was only nine months old. I do love it because when I turned 18, I finally saw it for the first time with a fully functioning memory section in my brain. We lived in Wausau and the Wausau area for a number of years before my parents decided to move north to a tiny town known as 'Merrill' which is unknown to many (and I don't blame any of them). My family is now in the process of moving to Oklahoma, but I don't think I'll be going down with them. I have nothing against the southern midwest, other than the tornados & Confederates, but I think I'll try my luck at my dreams and not live my parents' dreams for them. Love my parents, but I've lived enough of their dreams for them, it's time for me to be an adult and try for mine. I know it's splendid country down there though and I can't wait to see it, so you southern folks, "Howdy!".

Let's see...what do I like to do? I LOVE to travel as I'm sure many people here do. I'm a typical Wisconsinite, I guess, because I enjoy scenery, sight-seeing, nature, animals, the outdoors & ALL that good stuff. Love to fish...yes I do. I've been to two countries: France & Mexico and counting, & 15 states and counting those as well. I'm also a dancer. Though not yet dubbed 'professional', I do get my rocks off through dancing. LOL. I do love me a good Hip Hop/R & B/Reggaeton club! Trance and raves aren't my thing, but I don't mind them. I like to cook, too. A man's gotta eat, right? So I try and cook healthy but yummy (when I have time). The foods I like? Chinese, Italian & ALL SEAFOOD! I'm also the typical guy. Gotta love my cars! And to represent, I gotta love my imports. Each and every kind of car has their own capabilities. Unlike most dudes, I don't think one car is better than the other despite myself owning/preferring just a certain kind of car, too.

There are so many different things I'm interested in that DON'T relate it's almost pathetic really. I like many things and I'm very open-minded to new things because I have a strong desire to just learn, learn, learn. Though I may enjoy and like many things, it's quite obvious I love nothing more than music and singing. Growing up troubled was nothing new to most of us and many of us didn't know how to deal with it as it happened. I always turn on music regardless of my mood, but music has helped me more in my life when I was sad, depressed or mad than anything else has ever. It has strengthened me as a human and also taught me the will to be. I don't know about yous guys, but music is the most empowering thing I know. You take music away from me, you might as well kill me! LOL. It's how I learned and how I grew up. Music has opened up my mind and as a result, I've become philosophical in my own ways. With the use of metaphors and philosophies, I've been able to write poetry & songs with some depth (other than my sexually implied ones--hehe) & meanings.

Most of my songs I've written are more for fun's sake. When I drop my album, you can expect more heart-felt, meaningful, deep & touching lyrical content along with more soul and passion in the vocals as well. Reason why...because an album is the real deal. For those of you who like the sexual & seductive songs, I won't exclude those either. I admit...since I'm quite a sexual guy (aren't we all sexual), I actually enjoy writing these songs--THOROUGHLY! For being my greatest support and offering the most motivation through words of encouragement, you are all the reason I keep doing what I do. For this, hopefully I can repay you with the music I'm gonna bring forth. Many thanks for reading this first of all, and thanks also for pushing me. For the haters, keep hating. You don't even KNOW me and you talk about me like you do. It's funny how I read some things online sometimes and those haters say things about me like they know me?! That's actually VERY flattering, y'know, so KEEP TALKING! You hate me because I'm on fire. Well, that, my son, only fuels the flames!
