    Both members of this electronic group are not strangers to the musical industry. But as for "Kakao", this project has initially been just a home experiment, a musicians' attempt to have fun, to entertain their friends and to enjoy light, beautiful and intelligent music, inspired by love, free of any commercial obligations. "Kakao"'s music relies on a captivating female vocal and the rich musical erudition of the authors.Though it is a home studio record, skilful arrangement adds to the picture. So, delicate and seductive voice of the singer and vivid lyrics are, to my mind, the most remarkable features of this mini-album. Graceful melodies are fun to listen and easy to remember. And, finally, an experienced listener can find there a dazzling mix of various styles of music in almost every composition - there are elements of Yma Sumac style, and some of Gotan Project, authentic songs of cats and whales, and sounds of a big industrial city - wonderful musical treasures in a perfect fusion, they are not a bit ostentatious, but traced at a level of nuances. What I'd like you to listen first in this collection of original compositions is their "Paraplan". Full of alliterations, bright and inspiring, it will probably remind you summer sun, fresh air and clear sky, and, who knows, may give you wings to fly.
