Happy New Year, Kimmie! I just got out of work a little while ago and I'm just too drained to go to our usual New Year's Eve party. I'm in pj's already! Hope you have a little more energy than I do.... Tomorrow should be a good day. My only plans are to do some sewing. I have so many projects half-done. I'd like to finish two or three of them. Hi Kimmie, I didn't realize I had taken so long to comment back to you! December was kind of a lost month for me. It is true that the mail volumes were down.... but we are so short-staffed that we were constantly busy and I got overtime every week. It was exhausting! I'm just now catching my breath. And my back got strained from our very heavy collection every night. It is starting to loosen up now (with Icey Hot patches) so I guess I just have to be more careful.

So, they are talking about excessing again. It is hard to tell what would be for the best for your life. If they want to send you far away, then reverting to PTF is probably better than adding a long drive to your day. But the way they schedule PTFs here makes for a very long day. I'm lucky to live so close. I go home and take a nap. But I don't get much done because my day is usually so long and all chopped up. This year I want to find a way to make the most of my time. Very challenging. Do your PTFs have a 12-hour day with a long lunch time? Sometimes we have two "lunches". That's the shift I could do without.

I'm so glad it's kind of quiet at work now. There are two people on vacation so it's not easy. We are spread too thin. But Christmas was really wearing me out! So, I'm glad that part is over.

We are having a lake effect storm--snow coming in from Lake Erie--sometimes you can't see and sometimes it is very clear. We had some strong winds, too. Not sure what I'll be driving in when I head to work. I hope your snow has melted!

I'm fine. The little kid just fell asleep,
after a discussion on "Santa" and do
I believe in him, and that was the
big question. Of course I believe in
Santa. I even heard Santa's reindeer,
clearly on a cold night in 1971. I'm
sure about that, but no one believed
me. ha! There are believers and there
are nay sayers. I like the previous
more, they get more done. : )

grateful. My neck is in dire need of
