KALAKAI is a five piece melodic death thrash metal band formed in early 2006 out of the remnants of numerous local South Florida metal bands.
With influences ranging from Pantera, At the Gates, Cannibal Corpse, and Sepultura, we would like to think our music is a unique take on the new wave of American Metal. We are set to bring forth our malevolence to the masses with the release of our upcoming self titled CD on February 8, 2009 and touring plans throughout the year.

Greetings! Mendacity will perform with Sevendust and Venejer on Friday, Oct 30th at Revolution Live in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Come out and enjoy great performances by these bands. It is also most likely Mendacity's last show of the year so lets make it a special one! We'll be heading into the studio to record a killer album!
