Fete de la Musique - Kalamazoo's Blurbs |
About me:
Fête de la Musique is a festival that celebrates the first day of summer with free public music performances. A French tradition, the festival has spread globally with over 300 cities in more than 100 countries participating. This year Fontana Chamber Arts in collaboration with Downtown Kalamazoo, Inc. and the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo would like to begin this in our community.

Who I'd like to meet:
MUSCIANS! We would like to invite all musicians to participate in this event and fill the city of Kalamazoo with music. To aid in Kalamazoo’s first Fête de la Musique, we have reserved venues in the city including Gallery 344, the Epic Center, Water Street Coffee Joint, Bell’s, various outdoor locations on the Mall, and many others! These diverse performance spaces—traditional and nontraditional—will provide the best accommodations for all musicians, regardless of genre.
