ALEX Mitnick (MUSIC) & ALAN BELL (LYRICS) are revolutionizing music and entertainment for children... CONTAGIOUS RHYTHMS and LYRICS that GRAB YOUR HEART and SOUL and DON'T LET GO!!!
The lyrics are beautiful STORIES, LESSONS, EXPLORATION of EMOTIONS, revealed through incredibly moving MUSIC that CAPTIVATES AUDIENCES of EVERY AGE...
AN ANSWER TO PARENT’S PRAYERS FOR ENTERTAINMENT that combines FUN and LEARNING through THE POWER OF MUSIC!
A KALEIDOSCOPE CONCERT is an ELECTRIFYING COMMUNAL EXPERIENCES THE CHEMISTRY OF THE BAND IS EXPLOSIVE... band members immediately CAPTURE and ENGAGE the AUDIENCE for an UNFORGETTABLE INTERACTIVE PERFORMANCE.
While the WORDS of each song UNFOLD like a STORYBOOK, the UNIQUE flavor of the MUSIC TUGS at the very CORE OF YOUR BEINGS expect HAND-CLAPPING, FOOT-STOMPING, WORLD MUSIC INFUSED RHYTHMS alongside BEAUTIFUL EMOTIONAL arrangements that provide a precious BONDING OPPORTUNITY for PARENT and CHILD to EMBRACE, SWAY and GET LOST in the MAGIC of the MUSIC.
If PARENTS could only BOTTLE THIS MOMENTS they're the MOMENTS that TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY. It’s MUSIC from the HEART, for the HEART, CONNECTING PARENTS and CHILDREN, allowing them to make MEMORIES that will LAST A LIFETIME.
Like a Kaleidoscope, these songs take a look inside where we see all of the different thoughts and emotions that we share in common. Songs such as "I'm So Glad", "When I Cry", "Blue Sky Time" and "The Laugh-a-Lot Song" provide the language children (and adults) need to express themselves.
“The Review Committee believes the best way to produce sound ethics in kids is to give them the opportunity to experience music that opens their minds to great values. Kaleidoscope Songs Number One certainly leads in this quest”, says the Film Advisory Board. “Kaleidoscope Songs Number Two is beautiful music blended with meaningful lyrics… I think the CD should be available to every camp facility...kids at camp will enjoy it and camp leaders would appreciate it,” Jodie Lynne, president of the Adding Wisdom Award. Kaleidoscope Songs Number One was awarded “Best New Artist” and “Best Recording For Preschoolers” from the Children’s Music Web in 2005. In 2006, Kaleidoscope Songs Number Two was awarded “Best Recording For Older Children (8-12)” from the Children’s Music Web as well.
Alex Mitnick & the Kaleidoscope Band bring audiences on a fantastic musical journey. Adults and children come together through singing, dancing and participating in spontaneous and humorous improvisations with the band. “It was an hour of music from the heart, for the heart,” Sharon Orlando, Youth Services Librarian. Fathers will dance to “My Dad!”, Mothers will sway to “Mother”, and we’ll all laugh and sing about the wonders of life with “The Tongue Song”, “Kangaroo!”, “Together”, and many more!
Recent performances include a 3-Month residency at the World Café Live in Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Museum of Art Enchanted Forest Family Night, featured artist performances in the Brooklyn Public Library system, and numerous schools, libraries and private events in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Washington, D.C., and Chicago.
As a lot of you already know, INBEAT has been serving as an Advise and Empowerment source for some Members for sometime now. These activities have informed on the need for having such a facility within INBEAT on a regular and permanent basis for all Members; on a wide variety of issues, from career to financial counseling, and from relationship to abuse advise. Thus, an '...INBEAT HELPLINE COMMUNITY...' website is being launched that would ultimately be manned every hour of the day.
Discussed issues, but not the actual cases, may serve as impetus for a Self-Help Book that would be published by the '...INBEAT HELPLINE COMMUNITY...' that would go to help others that may find themselves in similar situations and/or predicaments.
This would be yet another mechanism for helping build the INBEAT Global Fund.
At least 3 to 5 Core Staff Persons shall help coordinate this effort, along with a pool of interested Volunteer Community Members as adviors as well. Anyone with basic Myspace and computer expirence wishing to apply as a core staff member should contact Michelle Short at the Helpline or on my personal page, listed below

I've just sent you a Sharing Skeleton for your Willy's Sweet Shop. Can you please send me one back? The more gifts we send the more money we can raise for St. Jude Children's Hospital.
I made my first video slideshow and wanted to share it with you. The musician (Elizabeth Ann Middleton) is one I found through MySpace, and she generously let me use her music to set to my images. Visit her MySpace page here - http://www.myspace.com/pianorama - she's fantastic! :-)
