Kaleidotrope is a twice-yearly print zine of writing and art.
We accept fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and black and white art. We like work that tends toward the speculative and/or fantastic, but we are open to all genres and styles. Cross-genre or slipstream work is especially welcome. We have a soft spot in our heart for the weird, magic realism, and humor. We typically do not publish gore or pornography. We're sure these are both fine and noble genres, but they generally don't interest us much. You're likely to find a much better home for them somewhere else. (You can always try us, but don't be surprised or upset if we say no.) We want the unexpected: science fiction or fantasy visions both unusual and unearthly.
Our full submission guidelines are available upon request and online at our offical website: http://www.unreality.net/kaleidotrope/
You can also find subscription information there, if you'd like to pick up a copy for yourself.
And be sure to check out our official Kaleidotrope weblog for current details and updates.
