Groupe dans la tradition metalcore (Killswitch Engage, As I Lay
Dying …) classique et original, nourri d’essences de Sepultura, Lamb of
God ou encore Machine Head, Kalia Corp. tape là où ça fait mal. Mélange
équilibré de musiciens expérimentés et de jeunesse talentueuse, la
formation a déjà fait ses preuves sur des scènes diverses où ses riffs
tranchants, son énergie enthousiaste, son inspiration tourmentée
déchaînent les passions.
Créateurs d’un univers héroïque, inquiétant, décadent, obscur inspiré
par les maîtres visionnaires des siècles écoulés tels Caravage, Byron
ou encore Delacroix, les musiciens de Kalia Corp. apportent au chaos et
à la fureur habituelle du metalcore l’intelligence malsaine de la
perversité antique.
Formé fin 2006, et après un an de travail de
composition et les premiers assauts soniques sur scène (Dour, Le père
Noël est un rockeur, …), Kalia Corp. enregistre, début 2008, trois
titres au studio Noise Factory sous la houlette de Gerald Jans.
La deuxième partie de 2008 voit un nouveau line up se former pour dévaster
les scènes entre autre du Botanique ou partager l'affiche avec des groupes
confirmés comme Dagoba ou L'Esprit du Clan.
Forgé à coup d’énergie intense et de profondeur d’âme, l’ombre de cette musique envoutante plane désormais sur vous…

As you maybe already know, we just came out of the Jack Studio ( www.myspace.com/jackstudio ) where we recorded our E.P. entitled "To the threshold of inhumanity". This first professionnal recording of WBB will contain the following tracks :

Mich macht die Sorge schwach , dass ich Dich nie wieder seh.. Dass die Zeit ohne Dich und ohne Licht hier nie vergeht Mir tun die Füße weh - kann ich deine Flügel nehm.. Wie soll ich die Probleme in meim..Leben überstehen ?

Das Album "Geist ist geil" beinhaltet 23 Tracks , wobei von Balladen wie "Blitzschlag" oder "KampfAbsage"(feat.Emy) bis zu harten RapTracks " Bringdienst" und "Deutschlands Favorit" alles mit dabei ist.
Featuregäste sind unter anderem Kaiman ("Verloren" , Leichtigkeit") sowie Lu-Key ("Dein Name") , Tizzle ("Komm mit (mit mir)") und nicht zuletzt Kern ("Käfig").
Die Beats stammen größtenteils von Marv 21 , aber auch TeeAge , Aist , Meki & Mandee und ZwerK hatten ihre Finger mit im Spiel.
Der Titel " Geist ist geil" soll eine Gegenposition zur "Geiz ist geil"-Mentalität bieten - es ist gut sich Gedanken zu machen und seiner Seele zuzuhören.
