Multi instrumentiste et parfaite autodidacte, Emal apprend de ses rencontres et des formations roots, rock, reggae dans lesquelles elle s'investit depuis toute jeune.
Le besoin d'être libre dans ses créations, l'amène à travailler seule et à creuser au plus profond d'elle pour en sortir sa musique et son univers. Passant d'instrument en instrument, elle travaille aujourd'hui sur son premier album et nous livre 4 de ses extraits. Une méditation musicale où rien n'est laissé au hasard et des textes sympathique contant son quotidien nous rappelle l'authenticité d'un vieux fond de grenier. Entre studio, création et projet de collaboration, "le son de KaliJah" commence à voyager de bouche à oreille et à faire parler. Son premier album sera bientôt disponible sur myspace.
