THE RITCHEY CD-ROM POWERPOINT PRESENTATION (feat. Mike Merrill)
The video below is another "blast" from the unreleased "past." Originally, the RITCHEY CD-ROM was to be released circa 2005/6 by Portland, OR-based CD-R label YARNLAZER, but they had difficultly meeting the incredibly, incredibly high demand for this remarkable object. The RITCHEY CD-ROM was to be a collection of music, comedic videos, VST plug-ins, custom-designed drone software, scholarly papers, powerpoint presentations, an episode of Twin Peaks, and much, much more.
This is the introductory powerpoint presentation, set to a penetrating soundscape composed by K. Michael Merrill of the K5M personal stock market project:
Kallikak in "Compilation" Mode Grown Zone available from States Rights Records *featuring hit songs Top Gun and Top Gun 2: After Tastin' Sunsets
COLOR handmade from Sanitary Records *with super-hit color-inspired song "RED|680nm|504Hz"
INNATURE from Barge Recordings *featuring smash hit single "PURITY MUSIC/PURITY SOUND"

my friend, happy life day. we all thought that day would never come. and yet, and yet. i hope it was a time of celebration, rejoicing, joyous outpourings, celebration, and remembrance -- and perhaps pensive thoughts of what might be to come.
