Here are some interests, taking to the streets, volunteer work, freshly cut grass in the morning, running at night, Tai Chi. Gilgamesh is probably my fav short story/poem. Capoeira as well, but I enjoy "gingaing" and playing in the bataria the most. Heh, capoeira music was the only reason I really started. Restoring old stuff, Football, and B-ball. Music of course, Faure Pavane Op 50, the symphony (before you die you must got to the symphony, it's a must!), video games with Tokyo Xtreme Racer series and 2 being my fav, Soul Calibur 1, A Prairie Home Companion, drawing (my oldest past time), Lowriders, Porsches, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Chevrolets (early Impalas especially), many other makes, but those are my top, Star Trek:TNG, food, & useless Jeopardy-esque info. I think cars take up most of my time. It's amazing really for me what emotions that cars evoke, the stylistic and smooth graceful curves of a body, the immersion of losing ones self going through the gates, the complete and utter satisfaction of working on a car, and then only to be slave to the glorious symphony of the engine as its song reverberates through the body, ears, and soul. I think however, that the only thing that is more captivating than the rapture of an engine, and the melody of a song is the sweet gentle laugh and smile of a woman. FAB.
Excerpt from Gilgamesh: "Gilgamesh, where are you roaming?" Gilgamesh, where are you roaming? You will never find the eternal life that you seek. When the gods created mankind, they also created death, and they held back eternal life for themselves alone. Humans are born, they live, then they die, this is the order that the gods have decreed. But until the end comes, enjoy your life, spend it in happiness, not despair. Savor your food, make each of your days a delight, bathe and anoint yourself, wear bright clothes that are sparkling clean, let music and dancing fill your house, love the child who holds you by the hand, give your wife pleasure in your embrace. That is the best way for a man to live. -Shiduri to Gilgamesh, Book X-
Music
I enjoy a bit of different varieties of music. African, Salsa, Mambo, Merengue. Latin music! Which is interesting as the aforementioned Latin genres have a lot of roots from African music. But there's something about Latin music, all that rhythm is just intoxicating. Very little rock if any, some Rap, Rock-a-billy, Classic R&B, Doo Wop (Doo Wop's/Classic R&B is my fav next to Classical, and Latin). What's fantastic about Doo Wop is the beautiful harmony and actual TALENT in vocals. So many new singers which sound the same and so many sound like garbage. This is probably the reason why I like 60's music and older. Vocalists had talent, they had feeling, and they make you believe in what they are saying because their voice communicates it. Conjunto, classic jazz, Swing/Big Band. Oh, some Hip-Hop, Bluegrass/"Get away music" in "Pearl", Folk music from around the World, well I guess that could just be World music then? Lots of stuff really, but that's not to say all music. What's ironic is a lot ppl say they like all music, but then all they really have is rock music. Don't tell me you listen to all and like all, but when I ask you about classical the only classical you hear is your stupid ring tone on your phone. By the by, don't even mention Moonlight Sonata or Fur Elise. PLAYED OUT. I still love you Luddy.
Movies
My favs are SW, ST, Godfather, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, The Nightmare before Christmas, Downfall, Das Boot, JP1, The Passion of The Christ, The Ten Commandments, Ben-Hur (Charlton Heston is still the man!), Shindler's List, Tora!Tora!Tora!.
..
Television
I don't watch much TV (to busy soaking up info), but when I do it's The Simpsons, PBS, DISC, NGC, ST:TNG/OST, and THC, ah but lookey here, I'm still soaking up info with PBS and Nova, ahaha.
Books
Ones I've enjoyed are The Epic of Gilgamesh, The Bible, The Qu'ran, The Great Gatsby, The Iliad, all books written by Uri Orlev. BTW, if you happen to say,"I enjoy reading but don't have any favorite books", then just admit it that you don't really read. Oh, and reading People Magazine doesn't count either.
Heroes
Dr. Martin Luther King-I've never been more moved listening to some one give a speech than Dr.King.

Jaime is in your extended network. In fact, Jaime doesn't even know what an "extended network" is, much less how put in said, "network." It's a curio.-MySpace Staff Posted at 7:50 PM Dec 16 view more
About me:
My friend Justyna told me about this place, so I decided to join. So, I'm from Texas and if you can't tell my name's Jaime, and I’m not sure what else to say, so yeah. Personality wise, this may look familiar.... I'm my self and that's how I'm different. Seriously though, I mean how else am I supposed to tell you how I'm different on some website? Can the nature of one's character be described in a few words? How I'm different can only be experienced, not told, and that's how I'm different. I'm also an INTP, which would explain a lot of things once you know more about it. I'm also Prez and founder of the Texas Supra Club www.txsupras.com please visit and post!
Also, the friends list is in no particular order.
I have left it randomized by MS in order to prevent people from nagging me to put them in the top 8. This isn't some popularity contest, well actually that's what MS is, but for me it won't be. CHEERS!
Who I'd like to meet: Some one I can get a long with (which is the main thing, right?!), I'm not super picky, but I would prefer a respectable wholesome woman, who is humble, honest, and if they happen to be pretty then that's a def plus. Skanks and shallow women need not apply.
I would like to quote "Freakin' Jake" though,"Finding a woman is a hopeless endeavor."
hey u just stopping by to say hi, yea my car is still in da shop, but i'm sooo glad my dad is letting me use his truck, which i look nice in it lol well k-i-t, ttyl
You have an incredibly interesting myspace page--who knew so much cool stuff could be packed into a "curio cabinet" window like this...
Say hi anytime--I am hanging out mostly in Baltimore and Washington DC right now (missing spending enough time on the beach in Florida).
If you are ever on the East coast, say hi! An INTPc meetup might not ever happen here, but I would love to have lunch sometime with you or to invite you to the dealership for a race shop tour.
