Kalumba is the name of our ceremonial and performance ensemble. We are playing Akogo, Karimba, Adungu, Ndongo, Kora and Nyunga Nyunga. Our intention is grounded in the idea that music is energy expressed via sound waves. These pockets of energy are concise and efficient vehicles, not only for music, but also for our intentions. We can infuse these sound waves with positive, healing energy that can allow transformation and healing occur.
