Kamayacha is an acoustic trio/quartet bringing Eastern European Gyspy, Jewish Klezmer, Balkan Gypsy, and Gypsy Jazz to Atlanta. The band made its debut in April 2007 at the Georgia Renaissance Festival, and had several performances in and around the Atlanta area over the past several months. We are currently performing at the 2008 GA Renaissance Festival, and still making regular appearances in the Atlanta area. In recent news, we have just released our new album, Balkan Slamdance. Hope you enjoy the new tracks, and look forward to seeing you at an upcoming show!
Loved your music at GARF 2007. I have just about wore out the cd I purchased from you guys. I still think of LOTR and Frau Bleucha when I listen to your music. Thank you for taking the time to add to our musical enjoyment. Thanks for the add and hope to see you all in 2009.

The Gashlycrumb Tinies: or, After the Outing is a book written by Edward Gorey that was first published in 1963. Gorey tells the tale of 26 children (each representing a letter of the alphabet) and their untimely demise in rhyming dactylic couplets, such as "A is for Amy who fell down the stairs. B is for Basil assaulted by bears." The book takes the reader through the complete alphabet, accompanied by Gorey's black and white illustrations. From Melissa.
I’m sure by now you’ve all discovered that I completely adore you and if you haven’t…surprise!!!!! I loved your shows today. The drums were a delightful surprise but my friend and I nearly cried when the cellist showed up. The Kamayacha stringed quartet was beautiful. Your last performance made my day. Thank You.
