Was The Price is Right ever a movie? Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Shawshank Redemption, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Braveheart. You know, the standards. Knocked Up has to be on there now. I just fell in love with the entire cast and crew.
Television
Of course, Chappelle's Show & Best Week Ever, or any other show my husband is on. BUT...I really like The Price is Right. Seriously. TiVO it every day and tell me you don't laugh heartily at least once and rewind about three times for a "Holy crap, did you see that?" kind of moment. Autopsy (HBO), First 48, Forensic Files, Dateline and 48 Hours Mystery. Heroes, Dexter, Six Feet Under, Arrested Development, and 24 before the last season turned lame. Also, American Idol. There. I said it. The first step to recovery.
Books
I really enjoyed The Glass Castle, Running with Scissors and Dry. I hope my memoir is 1/2 as good as those. When I was a young girl I devoured Agatha Christie. When I was about 11, I had so many books I turned my portion of our trailer into a library complete with the Dewey Decimal System and late fees.
Heroes
Anyone who would rather die on one's feet than live on one's knees. Seriously. Get up, dust yourself off and get busy living by your rules not someone else's.
