About me:

I'm a communication designer with a passion for comics and illustrations. I fully believe in doing what i love as a living. Yes, this means turning my passion into my work, and work sometimes sucks hard. But I would rather be doing this instead of something mind numbing and boring as a day job. Someone once said this about me: "He's going to be successful and famous one day". I've taken this to heart and will prove that statement right or die at the drafting table trying. My goal in life is to be able to walk into a store, whether it be a local comic shop, a Barnes & Nobles, or Virgin Megastore, point to the products on the shelf, and say "i made that and it fucking rocks".

I am a member of Space-Gun Studios based here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Space-Gun originally started as a webcomic and has evolved into an art studio. We've worked on various projects ranging from design, comic books, and fine arts. My other studio-mates include Evan Bryce, Jake Ekiss, and Matthew Warlick. We work on a few group and also have individual projects we each handle. It's been a lot of work but equally as much fun. I've just wrapped up a major project called "Synesthetic". It's a 140 page anthology that I organized, art directed, edited, wrote, penciled, inked, colored, lettered, and designed. It was a huge ordeal that took two years of blood, sweets, and tears. You can read about it in my blog here or at my blogger. You can read more about the project and pick up a copy via the website.

But by night, i am The LAWN, cleansing the filthy criminals from mean streets of Denton, TX as they infect the streets with their EEEVIL. It's a thankless job with great perks: insomnia, broken bones, concussions, arch-nemesi, and dental. This is my calling, my vocation, my life in the night. Evil is afoot, my friend, and i am needed.
