Virginia born and bred Alicia Hackney aka Kaden always loved music. She was originally a pop only kinda gal who wrote her first song at age 7 when she got her first guitar. Fast Forward to 1996, Kaden's 8th grade school year. The year when everything changed musically. The year Kaden first heard Angry Johnny by Poe. Ever since then Kaden has pursued musical perfection and diversity. Now at 23 years old Kaden is confident about the diversity part, taking influence from many different musical stylings, from the dark yet enchanting stylings of Poe (the lyrical goddess) to the rhythmatic rule breakings of NIN, to the simple yet effective folk acoustic geniousness that is Kim Richey, this girl does not like to limit herself. As for the perfection part... Kaden has only this to say: "I look at what I've done since I first started making music and I realize I will never be completely satisfied with my music. Knowing that, it only makes me try harder." Kaden is currently in the studio working on her 2nd album Cave Art for Brainiacs and composing the soundtrack to the website for her upcoming comic book series Azura Wasteland (in developement now from Ghosts of Avalon Studios) Kaden's first album, Make Your Own Adventure hit digital music retailers and CDbaby January 2006.
