What started out as just a hobby to get "oohs" and "ahhs" from the local music scene in Dayton, Ohio has slowly taken a life of its own in the form of the artist Kam Kutta. With his ears cemented to the streets and his eyes positioned on the "other side of the tracks", Kam draws inspiration from the events of his own life and that of the people around him to tell a story of those who cannot in a way that only Kam Kutta can. His style and musical influences can be heard through his heavy rhythmic delivery as compared to 2Pac, while his lyrics and orating skills of the street life and hope can be paralleled with the likes of Nas and Young Jeezy. Kam’s no holds barred approach to any and all issues makes him the entertaining and witty artist he is. Kam’s music and message has already made an impact on the musical landscape with radio play on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Shade 45 and XM’s 66 RAW channels, a review in Music Connection Magazine's “Hot For '09 Edition,” and constant rotation on XsquadDJ Internet Radio. From his three mixtape releases to numerous live shows in the Southeast, and placing on the charts of well known Atlanta, GA record pools, Kam is reaching people and steadily creating an up swell of momentum that cannot be denied. Believing in the grassroots movement, Kam Kutta is paving a path from his humble beginnings to a brighter future that he’s targeted for not only himself, but for those around him.
