Kandelo El Kandelero recibió un reconocimiento el 10 de mayo de 2008 en New York en un evento dado por la junta de directores de la parada de los reyes magos de la ciudad de Broklyn por su participación durante 10 años consecutivos ayudando a recolectar juguetes para los niños de la comunidad.
El cantante de “Sola” recibió una placa en reconocimiento por su participación en la parada la cual dice así:

Kandelo se presentara el sábado 17 de mayo de 2008 en el gran festival de Graham Ave Brooklyn NY y el 18 de mayo de 2008 se celebra la parada puertoriqueña del condado del Bronx donde Kandelo estará en la carroza con los demás actores de la película bx thug soldiers que se esta filmando totalmente en la ciudad de New York dirigida por el Sr. Alberto Suarez, en la que Kandelo también demuestra, sin duda, su talento para la actuación
Kandelo estará presentándose prontamente en Miami, Detroit y Puerto Rico donde estará en el lanzamiento de la revista de PortalReggaeton el 5 de julio de 2008.

In 1997 Angel feeling the need to perform creates a musical group called “The Brooklyn Boyz.” Performing merengues, pop and R&B music captivating his audiences. United Mambo Dance, He enters the studio to create his first cd of salsa music with compositions of his inspiration, In 2004 his song “Se Detuvo El Amor.” Wins an honorable mention at the Latin American Song Festival of San Francisco, He travels the U.S. and Latin America promoting himself and he is baptized by his audience “El Angel De La Salsa.” Being the innovator that he is he sets out and changes his image and musical style.
