As I was growing up in the 1970's, (I was born in 1969), I developed an appreciation of Karen Carpenter,(as well as her Brother Richard), and their music in general. Over the years, my taste in music has changed somewhat, in that I listen to great deal of music, ranging from Post-Punk, to Classical music, and Jazz. But I still find myself listening to their music now and then.

I like it because whether we are talking about our domestic situations, community, country or world; the key is acceptance of that which makes us individuals.
I find these days I am looking for what makes us different. With all the paper-doll cut-outs, it's refreshing to meet unique people.I mean, I know it's nice to find like-minded spirits, but the goal shouldn't be to try to make others like ourselves.

Hey, Do any of you know where I can find a Karen Carpenter song she recorded for her solo project called "Don't try to Win Me Back Again"? I don't think it was ever officially released, but I heard it one time on the internet, but now it seems to have disappeared.
