About me:
My name is David Kane, 26 years old and based in Glasgow, Scotland. In April 2007 I created Kane Digital Design and Photography, KaD² Photography.
My own media business incorporating Photography, Video Editing and Graphic/Web Design.
Not one to be held back I jumped head first into the industry, listening and learning as I went along.
I aim to be more than just another 'Internet Photographer' or 'Guy With Camera'.
I pride myself in my friendly, fun, original and professional manner and have begun studying towards becoming a professional. I enjoy doing photoshoots and ensure that you do too!
After a year of experimenting with styles and genres I found myself with a large and varied portfolio.
Although I have decided to focus my skills on Fashion and Glamour photography I am still available to hire for other styles and genres.
I am happy to work with both professionals and amateurs, it is always nice to discover a new face!
I am happy working on a location or in a studio and regularly use Contrast Studio in Glasgow for my work.
I am happy to work with models under the age of 18 however restrictions apply and a parent or guardian must both be present and have signed a release for us to work together. Proof of age may be required!
Through networking I have gained access to several Make Up Artists to help on photoshoots. I do not, however, have any hairstylists or wardrobe stylists networked yet. (If you are one, please get in touch!)
I love to work with other photographers and collaborate on projects. If you have something I may be interested in please don't be shy!

**For TFCD work I have very strict guidelines. Please understand that this is my business, my living and I do not do it for free!
Due to this, I am only happy to work on a TFCD basis if you have a good idea for a shoot.
As this will further add a unique set of photos to my diverse portfolio, this is, on the requirement that you are responsible for the organization of date, times and locations.
Please note that studio use and having a MUA attend MAY result in fee's being added.
I also occasionally look for models to do test shots with, if this is the case I will advertise and state that I am looking for a TFCD volunteer.**
For bands, I am available for both promotional and live photography. Live photography is, however, more about the challenge for me.
I love the difficulty in trying to catch the emotion and perfect moment of a gig! So please get in touch!
Other than photography my business also participates in Video editing, from gaming videos for Clans/guilds straight through to weddings!
However, nothing too fancy like special effects, etc. Cutting, adding music and text etc are all easily done for a small and fair fee.
KaD² Photography also do graphic design and beginner level web designer. (Templates coming soon).
***Please note that I am fair and my rates are negotiable to suite different budgets. I do charge differently depending on each project and I offer a few packages. Get in touch for details!***
***As for Travel Expenses, I do not drive so sadly I must charge for travel that costs any more than £10 but I always look for the cheapest mode of transport available! ***

***For photography I have a 2 week turnaround period, please note that I cannot guarantee photo's are ready before this.
Unless we agree otherwise prior to the shoot. For Design and Video Editing turn-around are decided on a project-to-project basis.***
