As a songwriter, Kim draws from various sources. The most important thing in Kim’s life is her family – and you will find this present in many of her songs. “My Memories” is a song written about Kim’s grandparents and of a simpler time and place we all treasure. Kim also writes about her personal experiences – her ups and downs – leaving you laughing and crying for more. Kim tells us of a relationship gone cold in “Where Do We Go From Here”. “You and You Alone” tells the story of a love you just can’t live without. And yes, Kim even writes about wanting it all in “Buy Me, Take Me, Show Me, Give Me”. This is only a short list of Kim Newton originals – but some of her fans' favorites.

Kevin is two and a half weeks into recovering from quadruple (yes, not double as we previously thought) bypass surgery. He is a teacher at NCTC, a music teacher and our and others keyboardist. He is a single dad. We will be passing the hat all night - every little bit will help. He is facing several months before he will be able to go back to even a 75% schedule.
Party will be good, Hubcaps is having a fish fry and the music will be ROCKING!
Kim, we've been listening to your CD and really enjoying it. We're looking forward to seeing you at "The Back Porch" and having a drink, a good meal and I hope I can sing a few songs for you. Jay
