Pickup in Kansas City is played at the following locations:
Tuesday evening from Mid May thru the fall at Loose Park on the west side by the tennis courts. 6pm-???. Very casual pickup overall with a fun group of people.
Tuesday nights during the fall and winter starting around 1st week in October at Roseldale Park at 41st and Mission Rd on the baseball field under the lights. Cost $2. This is located in the same complex at the Rosedale Disc Golf Course. Watch out for the rangers at night who are scouting for speeders in the park. The speed limit is 10mph fyi.
Kansas City Summer League begins June 19th and goes through August 9th, with a tourney on August 11th. We have fields at 152nd and Kenneth on the Jackson County Parks and rec Polo Fields. Summer league costs $45 and includes 10 weeks of ultimate, a shirt, disc, and party at the end of the summer. We play on the best fields available in Kansas City.
Sometimes there is a pickup game at Bingham on Sundays at 3pm in the Fall and Winter normally after the Chiefs game is over. Bingham is located one block east of Wornall at 77th st. If you head to 75th st and go east to the light where Planet Sub is, then head south you will see Binggham Jr High on the right. This game is not always played consistently.
