Hi, my name is Kirk Paterson; I help people to solve the problems they face and struggle with in Network Marketing & Direct Sales. Before I get into some reasons for peoples lack of results all give you a quick background on myslef.
I am Canadian and I have spent two of the last three years living in Manly beach Australia with my beautiful girlfriend Jenn. I came over here to higher my education and I have achieved a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and a Masters in Finance. Aside from the educational aspect, I highly recommend everybody sees this amazing place.
Ok so lets face the facts. It is really quite simple why people struggle in network marketing. They go about things backwards. Oftentimes they are broke when they enter the industry but fall into seeking an opportunity that looks to make them millions overnight. They cannot afford a physical business and they want to work from home so they figure this is the industry for them. They have a shotgun, drag race approach towards their business. I mean let’s face it, how many people do you know who start their network marketing business thinking about how cool their office will be 2 years let alone 5, when they are making $100K plus a month? Most people entering this profession don’t feel they need to look that far down the road because they will be either retired or semi-retired working from their lap top in Tahiti maybe 5 hours a week by then. There are psychological reasons why 95% of the home based business industry will never make it, and a poor perception of reality I find is the number one factor.
The next killer in the home business community is that people who are bran new do not realise how they got into this industry so they go around doing to others what would have repelled them in the first place. Most people in the network-marking arena were attracted to an ad that sounded great, they were driven to a website, watched, listen and read about how great a system was from an individual. This person had what it was they wanted, "SUCCESS" so they bought into that. Then what do they do, they run around telling people how good this company is and how amazing their products are. That they have been certified, tested, the CEO is from Wall St. Whatever it is, NO one cares. Especially in the Wall St. example people nowadays are thinking after that crook caused Lehman to go Bankrupt and is the reason for the sub-prime mess no wonder he started a financial education company in network marketing, now he can go con some more idiots. I hope you see the difference between the two examples.
