The song "Colors of the Summer Sky" co-written by Kara Johnstad and Gunnar Spardel and sung by Kara Johnstad was released on Tiger Forest "Sounds of Life" album. 2007
Tiger and Forest and Kara Johnstad are working on a new collaboration for summer 2008!
Kara works with the pop/rock band Fortunate Fools and has written many lyrics for their "hits!" They just finished recording their first studio album and it is now on the market! Record release February 2009! I am excited! A great live band, be sure to check them out.
Kara and Nicolas are gathering ideas for a collaboration for Aqualise. It would be Kara's first "gig" in London, a town she wants to discover this year.
Myng and i are going to work on some new tracks. We are still in the brain storming stage, but it will happen for his upcoming album, and I am going to get into studio and send him some of my relaxed tracks and he is going to work magic and make them into "CLUB" mixes.
Makato Sawai, a wonderful jazz musician based in Tokyo has contacted Kara this past month to write lyrics and sing on his next album.
I have the tune in my i pod and am inspired to write a stunning lyric! Also, between Far East Peach and Makoto would be happy to visit Tokyo with my band. I do love SUSHI!

Last two CDs Paths X and Pages of Sand are doing well. Paths X has charted top ten many times at Reverbnation, soundclick, isound, American Idol, Artist Underground, etc.. and plays on Am / Fm radio and about 400 podcasts... My work is top 10 in Germany on the My Space Easy Listening charts... and top twenty in Jazz.>Top 50 in the acoustic charts. LE GRAND LOVE is a fantastic new project in which I sing the works of the great French composer Michel Legrand. It is a vision I have carried with me for years and 2009 it has premiered to full houses. The band in AMAZING! Rolf Zielke - piano and musical director. Stephan Braun - cello and Rhani Krija - percussion. My vision is to perform LE GRAND LOVE in the major metropolitan cities of the world and top festivals and theaters. When you get down to it, we basically go back and forth between two basic emotions: love and fear. Fear can be healthy(fear of walking into traffic for instance) but most of the time, it's an unreal movie we are playing in our head. Fear prevents us from living our dreams, from taking chances, from living our lives the way would like to. Our fears hold us prisoner in jails of our own making. Only when we live through the eyes of love and not fear can we be truly authentic and true to ourselves.
Today, I have a simple question for you. Please ponder it. And find a way to act on it. What risks would you take if you weren't afraid? Wishing you a wonderful week ahead,

This week remember just how important you are. We all find it easy to acknowledge the importance of others in our lives. Yet it is all too easy to overlook our own need to be nurtured and loved. So this week give yourself that extra little care and attention. In looking after our own needs, we make ourselves better people for those around us. Enjoy your own uniqueness my friend.
This is the time of year that we need to stop what we are doing and help those that are
left alone for the Holidays, There are many suicides this time of year because
people are lonely, this is not right and we all know this {makes ya fell kinda
shitty huh?}, so I would like for you all to concentrate on someone you know
will be alone and do something about it! Its not hard to help someone in need,
you do it because you would want someone to do it for you! I also want to say
if someone does you a good deed try and do as many as you can so it starts a
ripple effect! I smile when I meet a cashier even if he/she is not happy and
not smiling, when you speak with them on a human level then it speaks volumes
about who you are and what your’re made of! I think maybe I should not babble
on but just remember we all are not really much different than each other, we laugh,
sing, love, dance, & share just like we are supposed to. We need to connect with each other a lot more
and show what we are made of!!!!!!!!!!
