If you haven't already figured this out, my "friend" Chrissy set up and filled out this profile to embarrass me. She doesn't realize it's impossible to do that. Pity poor Chrissy.

Who I'd like to meet:

I also would love to reconnect with some of those crazy mods, skins, two-tones and other malcontents I shared beers and criminal acts with in the 1980s. Rallies to every isolated campground we could find, Fender's, Gino's, Okie Dogs, Grand Central Station in Long Beach, Jets, Tommy Burger, Chateau Marmont, British Dominion Social Club, John Bull, etc., etc. What was the name of that club in Tijuana?

But, let's be clear: It's not all about the old days. In fact, these days are much, much better than the old days. We don't have parents telling us what to do, we can stay out all night if we want to, and we have a couple pennies to scrape together. I'm having fun right now. Are you? Or, are you living in the past?

    Hi -we wanted to let you know of a few important things happening in our little world.
    Firstly, we release our debut single (a ltd edition 7 inch vinyl record & also available as downloads) "The
    Contessa    " / "Snake Charmer" in a few weeks on dctone records.
    Copies of this single will be available on SEPT 26 which is also the date of a big London show we are playing
    @ Crossfire (held inside 229 The Venue in Gt Portland St opposite Regent's Park) to celebrate the forthcoming launch of our debut album "SIX AGAINST EIGHT."

    The show features an enlarged band with special guests and shouldn't be missed - an all-nighter follows our gig with DJs from across Europe....
    The album is produced by Donald Ross Skinner (Julian Cope etc) & features 14 original tunes - it will be available as a CD (see www.dcfontana.com) and as downloads.
    Our next Birmingham gig is this Saturday SEPT 12 @ The Sound Bar +support:

    We miss you too.  Despite my ardent hopes, it is not yet cool here -- just holding on for one more month until it's bearable.  Should be nice for October First Friday, you should come out for a visit.
