In Memory of My Crystal ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The best dog that ever lived ~ 2/20/90 - 2/18/04 ~ ~ ~ ~ Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that companion goes to The Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent. Her eager body quivers. Suddenly she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your greatly loved companion, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Then you cross The Rainbow Bridge together .... ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Author unknown... ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In Memory of My Much Loved Canine Companion Tippie ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ January 1977 - January 1990 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ My dear canine companion Tippie was a wonderful dog. She had a great life, yet she was with me during hard emotional times. So … In no way was her life as good as was my Crystal’s life. May God bless my dear little Tippie and may we too be reunited at the Rainbow Bridge. Heaven will only be heaven for me with my animal companions there. I stand on Ecclesiastes 3:19-21 ~ ~ ~ "19 For what happens to the sons of men also happens to animals; one thing befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other; man has no advantage over animal, for all is vanity. 20 All go to one place:are from dust, and all return to dust. 21 Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of animal, which goes down to the Earth ? " ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ This scripture states "Who Knows" and it is due to human vanity that we put ourselves above God's other creatures. I adopted my feline companion, Raven, in May of 2001. I knew that when it was time for my Crystal to pass away it was going to be very hard for me. At first I called Raven "My Transitional Animal". Now, after her being such a comfort to me in dealing with Crystal's passing, she is the Princess. … … … … “The Phantom of the Opera Is There Inside My Mind”
