SPINDLE by Ian Taylor is my favorite book. It's an utterly hilarious comedy-science fiction novel about a rookie recruit's first week in the Space Force. It's the funniest book I have ever read, and I run the official fan club for Spindle at Spindlefan AT yahooDOTcom. I also love the Harry Potter novels, Lemony Snicket/Daniel Handler books, most of Stephen King's stuff, and I totally recommend an awesome y.a. novel called "Al Capone Does My Shorts" by Gennifer Choldenko which features a family with an autistic daughter. I also highly recommend "I Had Brain Surgery, What's Your Excuse?" by Suzie Becker, which is a fascinating and funny illustrated memoir.
