When Karen Rush moved to Los Angeles in 2005, she left behind one of New
York’s most popular bands, Eystone. Having recently released their first
CD, Up For Air, Karen’s band was taking the New York club scene by storm.
But professional commitments led Karen, and producer/drummer Pete Rizzo to leave
the east coast behind and move to LA.
After getting settled in, the two turned to the task of assembling a new line
up for a new project. Several months a countless online ads later, the duo
found bassist Nate Morefield. The three immediately clicked and began working
on new material.
The final element fell into place, when the trio was joined by Canadian-born
guitarist, Ryan Adams (no not that Ryan Adams). A Berklee School of Music grad,
Ryan brings a wealth of musical knowledge to the band.
Now the group is hard at work recording new material and performing at some great local venues. Be sure to catch a show......or two.
