Hi Karen, there's a good number of places to check out in Fredericksburg. Try the Colonial Tavern open-mic on Mondays or the University Cafe open-mic on Wednesdays. You should also swing by The Griffin on the 12th, myself and a few other Fred. musicians will be playing. It'd be great to meet you and introduce you to some other local musicians.
