Introducing The Rock n' Roll Circus!
Part of the Pure Expression Collection.
Karen's Rock n' Roll Circus is part of her
longtime fantasy, a playground if you will,
where the Electric Cat purrs! A memory from
a world long ago where inhibitions were left
at the door and fun & fantasy become the reality!
She is inviting you to have a peek into that
world here in the Pure Expressions Gallery.

Fan emails I want to share:
It was really nice meeting you the other day. Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me (especially after my drunk friend showed up). Not to take anything away from any of your photos, but your beauty is much more apparent in person. I can't wait till I get a chance to hear you guys play somewhere. Thanks again.
He wrote about a photo not shown here...."Hey, you have such incredibly sensuality, so sexy looking, that smile just puts you over the top from gorgeous all the way to striking and sweet and adorable. That one photo of you smiling is a killer! I fall in love with the girl in THAT photo, I tell you."
For those who are visiting my page for the first time and don't know me, one of the important things to know is that I am a rock singer/songwriter, plus a myriad of other things. I release my music under the name SotoSoundz (visit my profile page at myspace.com/sotosoundz). My favorite period in music is without a doubt 60's garage/psychedelic rock, followed by early 70's rock. I've been in the music business many years - btw, absolutely NO plastic surgery here, just great genes! ;) I have met many "rock stars" and seen many things change - some for the better. One of the things I say a lot even in interviews is "presently it is both the best time and the worst time to be in this business - best time because there have never been as many opportunities for an artist to get exposure without a major label. Worst time as everybody wants to be in the music business - talented or not - more so the latter!"
Thankfully, I've always marched to my own drum and lucky enough to have enough experience under my belt to stay original and independent. Music is truly my passion, been so since I was a "wee" six years old singing hit songs a'cappella in a Chicago street group with my sister. Then there was an incarnation in a metal/hard rock band that proved to be very educational. Presently, the "SotoSoundz" incarnation which began in 1999 is most gratifying.
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I came across some stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, the fundamentals are still relevant today.
