My background is in the entertainment business in LA where I worked for ten years. Then I turned 30, wondered what the hell I was doing with my life, and made the most random, yet smartest decision ever - I went to grad school. Not because I thought that a media studies masters degree was going to help me in life, but because I really just needed to do something different.
It was while I was at school that I started to write. I figured I had to write papers all the time, so I might as well get paid for it. I just sort of closed my eyes and jumped in. I had no idea it would take off the way it has.
Now I'm back in Los Angeles, making a living writing. Who knew?
