Shortly after, in the october of 2004, the band toured Southern Germany. R.I.B Promotions announced Karilla as
“the highlight of all the bands from England on the tour”.
The band released their self titled debut album to critical acclaim and subsequently funded their own UK tour in 2008 .
(They are working on their second album due for release late in 2009.)
Sold out performances headlining at venues such as the Camden Barfly, The Borderline, The Fly, Colchester Arts Centre as well as Festival appearances last year have contributed to the bands rise from local heroes to a professional touring act.
