MySpace a place for friends

I am a people person; you would have to be to be a successful hairstylist and to make it big in the hairstyling industry.

I learned over time that a hairstylist is the equivalent of a psychologist after just a short amount of time of people visiting your “chair” not just to look good, but to feel good and to talk with someone who will listen.

That is something I BECAME VERY GOOD AT. I listened, at first I listened more than spoke because I am a perfectionist and my concentration and focus was on my client/guests hair…coming from a disciplined schooling like the Vidal Sassoon Academy of Advanced cutting, we learned that the execution of the cut was obviously the most important part. That fact is so very true…in fact we were taught not to do conversing during the cut so that we were 100%focused on what we were doing, and not listening or talking…because those too required concentration.

After a while I was able to listen as I cut hair, and really besides a great cut and style that was something that most people wanted as well, was simply someone to listen to them.

I have heard stories, and situations that would make one’s head spin…and I could most often relate to them as my life was full of many of the exact experiences of which I WAS HEARING ABOUT.

Funny story…a psychologist client of mine was telling me one day about her struggles with a patient…she was helping a patient with this situation, and the patient just wasn’t taking action, or doing what would help her to move forward in her life…yet, one day the woman as excited as could be, ran into her therapists office and said “I did it” “I finally had the courage to do it!” (Whatever that “it” was)

The therapist asked, after congratulating her patient “what made you do it now? What gave you the courage now?”

Her answer was simple, yet very realistic and common… “My hairstylist told me too!”

True story!

My point here is, I am a people person, and I help in whatever way I can, I loved when a client/guest left my chair not only looking great, but feeling great!

I could always tell by the way they walked out of my salon, walking 2 feet taller than when they came in!

After quite some time, and many competitions later…Where I very proudly have won local, national and international Championships, it was time to coach and train people in the hairstyling industry to do the same. I taught them and mentored them in mindset, in technique, skills, and the application and implementation of it all…those that were great students and followed the mentors advice and mindset moved on and up in the hairstyling industry to become HUGE SUCCESSES!

For me, that reward of seeing them do the same, and enjoy success was and is the best feeling in the world!

So what do I do now? I help people! In whatever way I can…I know a lot about the mind, and the importance of “mindset” I am a master of this, because of my EXPERIENCE with such things as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Dissociative Disorder, Anxiety, A.D.D. AND MANY OTHERS…

(You will just have to trust me on those, and ask anything you want) I will share my knowledge, experience, mind and thought process on those as well!

Once again, “I help people” I am a Dale Carnegie Graduate, and stayed on to be a very successful Graduate Instructor of the course and program.

It is one of my many favorite self development and business training courses I have taken. I can now say without hesitation, and with 100% honesty that a lot of these courses books and trainings have changed my life, and thought process. However, the one which has really been of the absolute best value is, and will always be the “Master Key System”

I have learned about technology, and have taken numerous courses, classes, and advanced training from some of the top people in the “online Business World, and I teach everything from WEB 2.0, Relationship marketing, myspace design, and so very much more that I am very excited about sharing with you!

Some things are as simple as setting up skype or ooVoo for communication and business use, I teach people how to be comfortable in front of a camera when using youtube and other video sharing sites to get their message out!

A year ago I found the internet, learned all I could about it, learned of myspace...OHMYGOD, You shoulda seen it then!...however I found myself out there wanting to help people or contribute to this world or to make a difference in people's lives.

I started out helping people and building some great relationships with incredible people from around the globe.

I was relating to, and helping people in whatever way I could.I made friends who, have had experiences like I have had in the past...as in post traumamatic stress disorder, right up to entreprenuerl businesses men and woman.

World Class Hairstylists, "Masters of Secret Gurus," to Internet Relationship- Building Web 2.0 Marketing Webucation...I am surrounded by it all, and I absolutely love it!

I'm NO GEEK, but I learn what I like, what I dont' care to learn or care about, I find someone! Not Hard at all with a World Wide Web of people out there..I attracted The like- mindeds', or "The Crazy Ones!" friends, people, business people, causes, experts, authors, you name it and its either around me, and in my circle, or when I need them they will appear!

I am a student of life. I am flawed, "we all are in someway'...

and on the other hand, I am perfect! (I dont mean that in a conceitted way)

I mean in THE "I accept myself for who I AM... PERFECT!"
