I enjoy the outdoors, I have been getting into soccer, reading when I'm in the mood, different cultures, history, cooking/baking when I'm in the mood, hmmmm I'm thinking of more.
Music
The whole genre of rock! Classic, new, indie, and any other sub group that I might be leaving out.
Some Jazz!
Movies
Last of The Mochicans, Elf, Amelie, Spirited Away, Lord of the Rigns triology, Anchorman, The Motorcycle Diaries, Everything Is Illuminated. What else? I know there are tons more
Hmmm, I like a lot of the smaller independent and foreign films
About me: Hello, I'm Karin and I am teaching in Bratislava, Slovakia! This will be my first time in Slovakia and I look forward to this new opportunity in my life. I am part of a team of five teachers. Vic, Darla and their children will be living several minutes from my flat and Vic will be teaching at my school. Becky, Jenny, and I will be roommates and we have nicknamed our flat "The Bat Cave". All are welcome and those of you traveling to Europe, and specifically to visit us in Bratislava are welcome to stop by and visit! We will serve you hot tea! I hope you enjoy looking around and are able to see the pictures of this year!
hey chica...I might have to look for a reason to get over to Dallas and see you. It so good to hear that you and your students are well. I wish you success and safe travels as the school year draws to a close!
Hey chica...Just wanted to drop a note and say 'hi.' How did you enjoy skiing in Bratislava? Your pics are really a treat to see, and you are looking well, friend. Did you receive my Valentine's card? I hope you and the kids enjoyed it.
I have good news! I've recently become gainfully employed again. It's a part time reference librarian at a local university. I work three evenings a week and weekends as needed. It's a great opportunity to build my skills, but I am still on the hunt for a full time position.
Other than that, life is good. Many blessings have come to me this week and I'm better than I've been in a while. Please pray for me - that I can serve the LETU community to the best of my ability.
Merry Christmas Karin! We are so glad that you got the package and we hope you enjoy it! Love- Uncle Steve, Aunt Jamie, Megan, Martin, Blake, and MacKenzie
